Trey, Alex's brother was able to set up a GoFundMe page for a reward to make an arrest in Alex's murder. We were amazed at the amount that was raised in such a short time. A vigil was also held in East Atlanta Village to raise awareness of Alex's death to honor Alex and continue to spread the word about the video of the suspect. To gain more insight in our story, some news clips and pictures are here for you to see. We were very happy that the reward was able to help several come forward and identify the man in the video which allow the police to make an arrest and he was later charged with Alex's murder. He is still awaiting trial.
