Warm Up for Winter Coat Drive

Our Winter Coat Drive was a huge success thanks to the support of those donating to the WJBF TV station and to their Giving Your Best Partners as well as those donating in the Thomson community. We were so amazed with our total number of items collected - 1,005 coats, hats, gloves and scarves. Someone donated 64 homemade scarves and 25 homemade hats! What a blessing to know that so many will be warmer this winter. S4A donated these items to McDuffie Manna, Inc which serves clients in McDuffie and Warren Co. Donations were also made to Lincoln Elementary School in Lincoln Co. and The Clothes Closet in Warren Co., The Bridge Ministry of the CSRA and the homeless in Atlanta.
